IIS Applications not showing up in Monitor Applications list

Post by kylemalcharek »

I'm running into an interesting issue with YourKit Profile 3.0 for .NET on a couple of machines.

On my Vista box, I start YourKit, enable profiling, and select File -> Profile ASP.NET Application, and open up a local website, but no IIS applications show up in the profiled applications list.

Microsoft Management Console applications do show up in the list, however. Also, when I choose File -> Connect To Remote Application and enter my computer name into the dialog, it does recognize the IIS application (as well as any MMC or other .NET applications I have running).

On my Server 2003 box I'm experiencing the same issue, except that MMC applications are NOT showing up in the profiled applications list. I can still select the local machine using Connect To Remote Application and all of the applications are found.

Also, the demo application does show up in the profiled applications list on both machines.

Has anyone else run into similar issues?

Hello,

Could you please confirm that the problem is fixed in recently released 3.0.1:
