Hi,
My company is running a license server. I have the host/port (not SSL). I just downloaded the YouKit Profiler app on my Mac. I am trying to setup my Your Kit Profiler app to use the license server, but I can not find a place to enter the host:port of the server. I found the window to add a lic key, but that does not help. I have obtained a temp eval key and is running right now, but I want to point to where the company wide lic server is listening.
Follow on question(s) - I would like to run Your Kit from IntelliJ IDE. I have ran YourKit -> Run with IDE -> selected IntelliJ. It installed the Plug in - and I can see it in the IDE. But I am trying to find a place to enter the license server location and not finding it. I can find the IDE standard license page to point to a server for the IDE and on same page for Plug-ins. However YourKit is not appearing there. I also see the plug-in appear on the plugins page but no options of license server activation nor any settings at all. So how do I get the plug-in to point to the company's lic server and tune any your-kit plug in settings (if any)?
As I said - I have loaded and activated the your kit profiler but the IDE seems to be using the default/built in Profiler. I do not see any YourKit updates to IntelliJ tool bars / menus, so not sure if it is really activated or not. How can I run YourKit within the IntelliJ?
Thanks for helping!

If your company operates on-premise licensing server, please contact your company's license administrators. They will provide you with the necessary license key and connection details. For further questions regarding your license, please direct them to sales@yourkit.com instead of discussing them in a public forum. My company is running a license server. Regarding the YourKit plugin for IntelliJ IDEA, it does not require a key for activation. We recommend reviewing the documentation available at https://www.yourkit.com/docs/java-profi ... p/idea.jsp, which provides detailed instructions on how to install and use the plugin.Follow on question(s) - I would like to run Your Kit from IntelliJ IDE. You should find a "Profiler" action in the IntelliJ IDEA toolbar https://www.yourkit.com/docs/java-profi ... #profiling. Please note that in IntelliJ's modern UI, the "Profile" action is hidden under the "..." control located near the "Run/Debug" group. As I said - I have loaded and activated the your kit profiler but the IDE seems to be using the default/built in Profiler.
