Heap dumps proguarded with a parent package aren't deobfuscated

Post by Abdullah »

Hello YourKit Team,

I'm currently trying to deobfuscate a heap dump which was obfuscated with ProGuard. This is easily possible when you deobfuscate with default attributes. I used the flattenpackagehierarchy attribute to create a parent package under which the obfuscated packages are then located. YourKit Java Profiler 2022.9-b166 seems to not able to deobfuscate a heap dump when this attribute is used.

Is there anything I'm overlooking or is this currently not possible?

Kind regards,
Abdullah

Hi Abdullah

Could you please send the obfuscation log file to [email protected]

Best regards,
Anton
