License server not running?

License server not running?

This Saturday entire www.yourkit.com domain was obviously down, so I couldn't neither check forums, documentation nor use profiler because there was nothing running under this address.

Now I see that at least the web server with the homepage and forums is up running on https://www.yourkit.com again, but the profiler still reports at start that it can't connect to https://www.yourkit.com.

Could you please check if the license server is up and running too?

Dear Andrei,

There was massive DDoS attack on YourKit, which started on Friday. All is good now. Please use latest version 2019.8b139 https://www.yourkit.com/java/profiler/download/ It resolves problem with connectivity.

Unfortunately my organization is just in the process to purchase the upgrade 2018 to 2019 version, so my colleagues can't use 2019 yet. Any workaround possible?

In this case we can offer you to host your own license server. Please contact sales(at)yourkit.com , provide your license certificate (or just URL of your license management page) and request switch to "self-hosted" license server. We will immediately switch your license to self-hosting mode.
