availability of 2015 version for purchase

Post by Michael.Scaman »

Is there a version of Yorkist 2015 available for purchase. ( Mac OS X for UI and targeting apps on Linux )

And if it's not ready yet, what are the upgrade costs for getting a 2014 version

Hi Michael

Version 2015 has not been released yet, but it will be released soon, likely within a month.

Meanwhile you can download the latest EAP build at
http://www.yourkit.com/eap
what are the upgrade costs for getting a 2014 version
If you already have a license to a version older than 2014 and want to renew/upgrade it, please contact [email protected]

Please note that if you purchase a license now, either new or upgrade, you'll definitely get a free upgrade to version 2015, because the license includes 1 year of free upgrades.

Best regards,
Anton

does the seat and the users apply to the UI on the laptop?

If N users wants to look at M remote targets on linux boxes, is that N seats or M seats?

Per seat license cannot be converted to floating and vice versa.
does the seat and the users apply to the UI on the laptop?
Per-seat applies to the number of simultaneously installed copies of the profiler UI. You can move/reinstall a copy after uninstalling an old one.

Floating applies to the number of simultaneously running copies of the profiler UI, and allow any number of copies to be installed.

Profiled applications are unlimited in either case.

N
And does it matter if they are 'virtual' instances on the same box
Copies of the UI are counted no matter if they are installed (per-seat) or are running (floating) on physical or virtual machines.
