Monitor and store the memory graph for a long time period

Postby Soulfly » Wed May 12, 2010 8:39 am

Hello

I would like to monitor a remote application over a time period of more than a week.

Is it possible to monitor and store the memory graph for a long time period on the computer on which the Yourkit Profiler 5.0.1 for .NET is running ?

regards

Hello Soulfly

Currently, you cannot change the stored telemetry time frame, which is approximately 1 hour long. After that time passes, oldest records are dropped, in order to limit required data storage capacity.

We can add such an option in future builds. Also, there can be an option to change telemetry rate: when collecting data for a longer period of time, more rare samples save memory.

Which particular metric you are interested in?

Best regards,
Anton
