Yes. These files (profiler agent logs) are located on the server machine, i.e on the machine where you run profiled application.C:\Documents and Settings\<my susername>\.ynp\log

Re: Problem captureing snapshot
All seems to be fine now... regarding the log files. Im still using the 3.0.8 to compare results from 4.0.1. Could this be the source of the error messages since they share log directory? You mentioned something along those lines some posts back?

Could you please clarify: do you mean that the problem with memory snapshot capture is gone with the latest build? All seems to be fine now...
No. Same log directory is OK.I'm still using the 3.0.8 to compare results from 4.0.1. Could this be the source of the error messages since they share log directory?

Re: Problem captureing snapshot
We've just released 4.0.2:
http://www.yourkit.com/dotnet/download/
It contains the fixes you were testing.
Also, values of primitive types are available in memory snapshots.

Both the upstart problem I had, and capturing snapshot some to work now with 4.0.1. I haven't had time to test it in depth yet but initial tests seems fine!Anton Katilin wrote: Could you please clarify: do you mean that the problem with memory snapshot capture is gone with the latest build?

Re: Problem captureing snapshot
tobbe_0.zip contains logs from your regular user's home directory only.
Please also include logs from the server user's home. If there were problems writing the snapshot, they should had been logged. Without them it is very difficult to locate the problem.
Also, please upload the problematic snapshot to our ftp:
ftp://upload.yourkit.com/pub/
user ftp
empty password
