Release Build Profiling

Postby obowyer » Wed Apr 08, 2009 4:21 pm

Can YourKit profile release builds?

If yes, what is the required setup?

Do we need to add debug symbol files (.pdb) to the directory containing the running release .exe's .dll's?

Are there any limitations or restrictions for release build profiling?

Thanks for you help,

You can profile any builds with or without debug symbols. Just run profiler UI, enable profiling and run your application. All details can be found here http://www.yourkit.com/docs/net30/help/ ... /index.jsp
