Windows Server 2008 64 bit, IIS 7

Post by mbarrett »

Hello

Is the above configuration a supported use-case in the latest version of YourKit profiler (v3.0.5)?

Hi,

Sorry for not replying to this thread earlier. I managed to get IIS7 working with YourKit Profiler. It seems that all is required is for you to reset IIS yourself. The Profile ASP.NET Application menu option doesn't seem to work.

Regardless, I'm having a number of issues with the IIS worker process (w3wp.exe) when profiling. Not 100% of the time, but quite frequently, Windows reports that IIS Worker Process has stopped working. The problem details are pasted below. BEX64 supposedly indicates a buffer overflow or data execution prevention issue on 64 bit Windows. Is there something that can be done regarding this issue, or can I provide more details to help you guys track it down?

Regards
Matt Barrett
