.NET Core applications

Postby paul.mcguinness » Fri Jun 30, 2017 10:18 am

Hi,

I am wondering if your .NET profiler can profile .NET core applications. I have attempted this on version 2017.02-b49 without luck, attempting to attach directly to process dotnet.exe but the process detaches instantly.

Any instruction is welcomed.

Thanks,

Paul.

Hello Paul

Unfortunately .NET Core is not supported.

Best regards,
Anton

Hi,

Thanks for your answer, is this something that is potentially going to be offered or is there a technical barrier involved with .NET Core's unmanaged core approach?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Paul

We tried it some time ago and faced technical issues.

We'll re-try with the newest version of .NET Core.

Best regards,
Anton
