I'm new to YourKit and fairly new to Docker. On the docker instruction page here: https://www.yourkit.com/docs/java/help/docker.jsp

It says the following at the very bottom:
Note: if you're running Docker locally on your developer machine, create a remote connection to localhost.


I don't know what that means. Can someone point me to an article or another resource that explains what this is and how to do it? Thanks in advance.

You have to connect to dockerized app as if it is running on remote computer:
