Any plans to support phd format?

Postby patric.bechtel » Tue Jun 18, 2019 12:51 pm

Hi,

I'm aware that, in 2014, you stated that the phd isn't supported.

With the increased popularity and open sourcing of the OpenJ9 JVM, I wanted to ask whether this is still true or if there are plans to support it eventually.

Thanks!

Hello Patric,

At the moment we don't have any plans to add it.

We'll consider adding the PHD format support if we find that there is enough user demand. Unfortunately, we suppose that demand is low: if I'm not mistaken, you're the first one who asked about it within last 2-3 years.

Best regards,
Anton
