Stopping "Find positions"

Post by tbehrends »

More than once I used Ctrl+P (find Positions) in the memory profiler and it took very long (I've chosen too many objects).

Than I tried to stop the process with the "Stop" button and nothing happened for minutes (the result was worse than not stopping at all).

Maybe you should improve the stop-button listener to avoid blocking the workstation.

Greetings,
Thomas

You are absolutely right. There was a problem with stoppping long tasks. This problem should be fixed in the next build 425.
