JPA/hibernate profiling

Postby bungrudi » Thu Aug 13, 2015 2:57 am

Hello,

My company I work for currently looking to buy licenses for profiler and the choice narrowed down to Yourkit and JProfiler.
What I want to ask is whether Yourkit have the functionality shown here http://blog.ej-technologies.com/2012/01 ... rnate.html ?
If not exactly the same function, is there any function/procedure in Yourkit that can substitute?

Thanks before.

Hello bungrudi

YourKit offers recording and comprehensive analysis of individual events of different kinds, including database, web and I/O:
https://www.yourkit.com/docs/java/help/probes_ui.jsp

as well as graphically presents statistics for the same:
https://www.yourkit.com/docs/java/help/perf_charts.jsp

JPI/Hibernate probes will be added in the next version.

Best regards,
Anton

Hi Anton,

When is next session scheduled to be released?
If we buy the current version, will we need additional cost to upgrade to next version?

Upgrades are free within 1 year. The release date is not available yet, but the next version will for sure be released within an year, so you definitely get a free upgrade if you purchase a license now.
