There is undocumented profiler agent option "profiler_dir" which does exactly what you need. If it presents, then agent will launch profiler UI and connect it to the profiled Java process. I am not so interested in IDE integration because it doesn't tend to work for me. What is the problem...

Please try the latest version 2022.9. Most propably the problem is already resolved.

Please describe in details, where you keep your private SSH key. Profiler supposes that SSH private key is in normal file. Do you mean UNIX sockets?

YourKit Java Profiler 2022.3 does not support Alpine linux on aarch64 architectured (only x64 is supported). You need to install compatibiluty libraries to make libc apps work on musl. The upcoming version 2022.9 will support aarch64 natively. The EAP starts in a few days, so stay tuned. Best regard...
